please let Your peace prevail on this earth

save those who are hurting
feed those who hunger
provide for the impoverished
sustain those who cry out to You

let Your perfect love that transcends all understanding rest in the hearts of those who are crying out for help
give strength to those who feel they cannot carry on
wipe every tear from our eyes

heal this broken world that seems to be falling apart
effect Your justice and mercy on the people of this world

give us just enough light for the step we're on
so that we know where to stand, yet always remain reaching for You.
