i have 3 minutes to get my lazy butt back to the chemistry building - despite it being a 5 minute walk away. but that's okay. lol. i have to go back at 9.30 pm tonight to check up on a reaction - so i guess i can be a little late (^-^)

apart from that, nothing has really be rocking my world right now - and life is getting slower - which is good. i'm actually surprisingly stressed these days because of chemistry -- the reactions and the expected products and the headache that comes with not actually getting the product desired. nevertheless, there is very little homework, and on most evenings i'm left to my own devices EXCEPT for this person who to me seems to be both a leech and a leach (i know this word is supposed to be a verb - whatever. for the sake of being lame). i complained to my bro and he told me to nicely make myself unavailable. so i'm going to - after i humour this person tonight.

it makes me think how difficult it is to attempt to get along with all those around you, and also, in each case, to have a balanced relationship where each person is willing to give and reciprocate freely and willingly. well, through the years i've learnt that first you have to give, and i believe in time and prayer, God will give you a willing spirit to accompany that giving heart so that the truest generosity is able to develop.

after all, all that we have comes from God, we're also blessing Him when we bless others by giving.
