incessant eating - WHY?!

one of my good friends is taking a semester off - i'm going to miss her but i think it might be good and therapeutic for her. and if i go to kenya - i might not see her till a year later. or if she transfers then i won't see her ever. unless i go out to meet her wherever in the US of A she is.
so much to do so much to think about.
