hello everyone! i'm taking a quickie break from writing my bio manuscript. this is going to be short and sweet, i promise.

my life is getting interesting and i think God is working in very curious and marvellous ways. a lot of things have been happening but i'm just going to zoom in on one thing. so i lead a small group bible study now, on the book of John and though we haven't gotten down and digging deep yet (long story) i invited my catholic friend from ecuador to join us because it was really quite a small group, and last year before finals we prayed together several times, and i could tell she did have a passion for God and knowing Him. so she came and she really liked the meeting because she told me that all her life she's only really been going to Mass, not really knowing the essence of her faith. so i was like YES! so apparently she told her other catholic friends about my small group, and God-willing, they will come.

Also, another one of my SG members was brought by my wonderful friend and member Caroline (one of the best people in Christ I have ever met in my life) and the friend she brought is a unitarian universalist (as of now, prayerfully), not a Christian. but she's coming to small group again because she wants to know more.

I know you must be thinking, but aren't catholics and unitarian universalists different from christians? it might even be the case where my small group might comprise of more of people of different beliefs than christians. and you know what? i don't know about you but i feel incredibly blessed - even as i race to complete assignments and prepare for bible study, which say what you like can be stressful and is one extra workload - but it's for God! and i can't believe He's building my small group up! even if no more people join, even if people leave this will go on. it's going to be interesting because it is not for me to impose my thoughts and beliefs on these people who are curious to know more about Christ, but it is for me and my christian small group members to share our love for Christ. totally different wavelength, totally new level of love.

and i also remember the book 12 ordinary men that romans lent me. and i remember Andrew, the bringer of little things. the bringer of people to Jesus. and i see that in this group of mine, and i think about it and i feel so happy and i feel that GOD IS WORKING AT VASSAR. i want to be like andrew, bringing these people to know Christ a bit better, yet in all things to not boast (Gal 6:14) except in the work that the Lord is doing in these people. and that i might actually have a share in His good work.

Please pray for my small group!
